The cost to buy, transport, clean, maintain, and store a bike adds up; renting costs less!
Environmental
We acquired our fleet from a former bike-share company. The bikes are stored locally, transported efficiently, and last 5-10 years.
In contrast, "Department store" bikes are inferior and break often. Thousands are abandoned every year at Burning Man.

For individuals:
• Rentals are for the duration of the event.
• PBR cannot deliver your rental to you on playa.
• If you claim your bike in Reno, you must return it in Reno.
• We don't provide bike racks, rope, or tie-downs.

Questions
Where do individuals pick up and drop off bikes?
At our depot, in Reno. Near the Nugget Hotel.
What is the $200 refundable deposit?
Return your rental; we'll refund your $200.
In 2023, individual renter's deposits were refunded real-time (ie, instantly).
Group deposits take 30 days. (Or less, if there's a need).
Are locks included?
$10 Locks are added to each order. The lock is yours to keep.
What if the bike is stolen?
Locked bikes are rarely stolen, but if your bike is stolen, you owe us the rental fee and forfeit the deposit.
What kinds of bikes do you rent?
Comfortable, easy to ride, upright, 3-speeds.
We acquired them from a former bike-share company.
What sizes do you have?
One size, with an adjustable seat, for riders from 5' to 6' (150 cm to 188 cm).
Do you have baskets?
All our rental bikes have a front basket.
Are lights included?
Our bikes have a front light, but it only works at speed. We recommend you bring your own lights (front and rear).
Is there tax?
There is an 8.265% NV State Sales Tax, on lights and locks.
