Bike Rentals for Burner Express Passengers

Burning Man has partnered with Playa Bike Repair, to offer bike rentals to Burner Express passengers.

No need to transport a bicycle.

Adjustable seat. Front basket. Upright ride.

3-speed internal hub, sealed bearings, solid tires. Professionally maintained.

Affordable
Buying, transporting, maintaining, and storing a bike adds up. Renting costs less.

Sustainable
Our bikes come from a former bike-share fleet, are stored locally, and remain in service for years.

In contrast, "Department store" bikes are inferior and break often. Thousands are abandoned every year at Burning Man.

What if my bus or flight arrives after depot hours?
We'll do our best to accommodate you. There may be a delay.

What is the $200 refundable deposit?
Return your rental and we'll refund your deposit. Please allow 2 weeks for processing.

Are locks included?
Locks are $10 and added to each order. The lock is yours to keep.

What if the bike is lost or stolen?
You are responsible for the rental fee and deposit.

What sizes do you have?
One size fits most riders from 5'0" to 6'2" (150–188 cm).

Are lights included?
Bring your own front and rear lights.
